A new dawn.

January 1st 2011.  It’s now 76 days since the official formation and start of Blend.  Aside from a huge amount of live performance in those 76 days there has been a fair share of procrastination, design, redesign, purchases, workshops and a lot more, hence the delay in getting this website up and running.  The old websites will still be maintained (http://www.thelab.org.uk/ & http://www.blendstate.com/) for the foreseeable future.  So what can you expect from all of us at Blend then?  As usual we have the regularly updated Facebook group (@ facebook.com/weareblend) and should you choose to “like” the page, then you will automatically be put into the draw for forthcoming free tickets to the bigger events we are performing at.

Both Liam & I have been in discussion regarding the feel of our VJ sets, and have worked through allocating a DJ set each with a cross over (which whilst workable, really didn’t offer the best in performance) right through to our current setup of pretty much working back to back for the entire event.  A much more fluid approach and one that still allows each of us to step away from the mixer from time to time.
